VET 153 - Animal Diseases Credit(s): 4 A study of the cause, transmission, diagnosis, prevention, and control of diseases of domestic animals from the following groups: porcine, ovine, canine, feline, equine, caprine, bovine, and avian. The public health significance of these diseases and the function of the veterinary profession in controlling and monitoring them are covered.
Prerequisite(s): VET 134 with a grade of C or better, or BIO 107 and BIO 229 , each with a grade of C or better Note: Restricted to Veterinary Technician Students. Current tetanus vaccination, current rabies vaccination, and proof of health insurance coverage are required.
