CRJ 217(B) - Women, Crime, and Justice Credit(s): 3 MassTransfer Block Code: Social Sciences Knowledge of Diversity Code: KOD An examination of the factors which shape the experiences of women as victims, offenders, and criminal justice practitioners. This course will focus on the pathways to crime among female offenders, the nature of victimization among women, and the challenges that women professionals face. Finally, we will focus on the social construction of gender within the justice system and on the intersection of gender, race, class, and crime. Same as WST 217
