RDL 123 - Radiographic Techniques and Control II


Credit(s): 3
This course continues the study of radiographic equipment, the production of radiographic images, and maintaining safe radiation practices. Topics include: automatic exposure control, digital imaging characteristics, CR and DR image receptors, image processing and display, exposure indicators, image acquisition and processing errors, quality control, and an introduction to x-ray tube circuitry. 

Prerequisite(s): RDL 122  with a grade of C+ or higher.
Corequisite(s): RDL 142  
Note: A grade of “C+” or better is required in all RDL courses to remain in and graduate from this program.
