CUL 100 - Culinary Fundamentals I Credit(s): 2 An introductory course designed to prepare students for professional studies in the culinary arts. Focus will be on product identification, organization of the professional kitchen, basic knife skills, and an introduction to fundamental cooking methods. Students will gain hands-on experience in these essential techniques, laying a strong foundation for more advanced culinary skills. Additionally, students will develop an appreciation of food as a sensory, cultural, social, and aesthetic experience, fostering a deeper connection to the art and science of cooking.
