LAN 102(C) - Elementary Language 2 Credit(s): 3 MassTransfer Block Code: Humanities/Fine and Performing Arts This course builds on the knowledge and skills developed in Elementary Language 1. It is designed for students who completed two or three years of the target language in high school or one semester of college language. Classes are conducted in the target language to further develop students’ listening and speaking skills. Communicative goals may include planning a trip and ordering at a restaurant, discussing parties and celebrations, leisure time and talking about simple past events. This course is for students with credentials in languages other than the ones currently offered at HCC. Students can receive credits for transfer, the MA State Seal of Biliteracy and other credentials using this course for documentation/transcript purposes. The purpose is to extend CPL (Credit for Prior Learning) and transfer credits to those students who wish to obtain credits for language courses not offered at HCC.
