HON 202 - Honors Seminar Credit(s): 1 This course focuses upon the conventions of efficient and ethical research, and upon effective means of research presentation, written and oral. Seminar students will read and discuss a single text, use research to deepen their understanding of the work and share their discoveries with the class. The class text will change each semester, and may be fiction, non-fiction, or memoir. Students who want to extend the careful reading and research writing begun in other HCC courses will find the Honors Seminar a useful place to hone their reading and writing skills.
Prerequisite(s): ENG 101 with a grade of B or higher, or permission of the instructor
